5 Stretches to do to loosen your hips!

If you are a stay-at-home, pregnant, or you work at home and notice you have tight hips!

How do you know if your hips are tight?
Pain and discomfort from tight hips are normally felt in the upper groin area. You may also experience lower back pain or hamstring strains. Tight hips also lead to other problems including lower back pain, knees, and sacroiliac joints.

What causes tight hips?
Tight hips can be caused by
- A sedentary lifestyle
- Standing after long periods of sitting
- A tilted pelvis which creates structural imbalances
- Posture habits

What can you do to prevent tight hips?
- Move your body!
- Warm up properly before a workout
- Stretch after each workout
- Start your day with some light stretches
- Massage the tight areas in your body
